Dr. Franklin Carvajal’s humble origins began in one of the poorest sections of Caracas, Venezuela. He immigrated to the USA in 1987. Nowadays, Dr. Carvajal is one of the few psychologists in the USA who holds two psychology Ph.D. degrees from prestigious academic institutions (University of Massachusetts at Amherst and Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University). He considers himself a practitioner, academic, and researcher.
